August 31, 2024 Zahr El Laymoun Souk Al Bahar

Hey there fellow readers! I would just love to recap the previous meetup on August 31, 2024 held in Zahr El Laymoun Souk Al Bahar in Downtown Dubai. That was such an amazing event as the group has reached to a number of 20 people, which has been the most maximum attendees that the book club group has been ever since it started. It just makes me so grateful and thankful to where it has lead which started with only a few members and now has multiplied to 20 attendees. I would love to see the book club growing each time and it really feels so warm to see the members connecting with each other as well.

So here are the few pointers discussed and shared from the event:

We had an engaging and insightful discussion centered around the lessons we've learned from our favorite books. Each member shared how specific stories or characters have shaped their perspectives, offering a diverse range of takeaways. We explored the personal growth and self-discovery that many of us have experienced through reading. Some members shared how certain books sparked a newfound passion or influenced major life decisions, acting as guides during pivotal moments in their lives and learned how people are hard-wired based from childhood experiences. It was a meaningful session, and we left feeling enriched by each other's insights and the universal lessons our favorite books continue to teach us.

Below are the book recommendations discussed during the event:
